Meditation On This Agent Debate About the Body and Health

One of the most intriguing aspects of today’s medicine is the pathway of laboratory created drugs and the pathway of surgery that has been embarked upon.Have you ever considered that there could be other paths of development that we haven’t followed? What if there are natural cancer treatments that worked?

To further our understanding we have to recall a very ancient squabble. There came a time when the pathway of ancient medicine’s development split into to very different paths. When these groups polarized, there were two distinct camps. Read the rest of this entry »

Certifying Prophets During The End Of Time

Posted in Meditation at 8:18 am by Meditation

God gives us minds to think and we should use our minds to figure out which prophets are true and which prophets are false. A good rule of thumb is mentioned in Deuteronomy Chapter 13.

Should we follow a prophet simply because he makes a prediction and the prediction happens to come true? Absolutely not!

“If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, whereof he spoke unto you, saying, Let’s go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them; You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet…” (Verses 1-3).

Prophets of modern times may not be so blatant as to openly worship other gods. However, they may be anti-nomian. They may be against the law of God, the Ten Commandments.

“You shall walk after the Eternal your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cleave unto him” (Verse 4). Obedience to God is the key for knowing if a prophet is true.

How Can We Bind The Commandments On Our Fingers?

In the days ahead of us, the last days just before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, there will be a prophet coming in the spirit of the prophet Elijah.

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse” (Malachi 4:5-6).

During the last three and a half years of man’s evil rule of this world, there will be 2 witnesses prophesying.

“And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth” (Revelation 11:3).

During the last days our sons and daughters will also prophesy (Acts 2:17 and Joel 2:28). There is a parallel between what happened in the first century AD and what will happen in the last days, sons and daughters prophesying, old men dreaming dreams, young men seeing visions.

After the golden calf was finished, Aaron announced: “Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord” (Exodus 32:5). A righteous prophet might have asked, “Which Lord?”, since Baal also means Lord. The same could be asked in today’s world in which commercial religions are customized for today’s consciousnesses. It is specifically the way of Cain (Jude 1:11), substituting man’s own religion in place of the religion of God. Cain felt it wasn’t important enough to learn what God really expected. The same is true today.

“Just A Closer Walk With Thee” is the name of a somewhat popular song. Unfortunately, the way in which a close walk with God is outlined in scripture is not generally well received in today’s world. It also, is remembered only as a lovely song without application (Ezekiel 33:32).

Among other things, the end time Elijah will be here to oppose the end time Jezebel (Revelation 2:20). She is not just corrupting people who are already corrupt. She is teaching and seducing God’s “… servants to commit fornication {porneuo} and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.” That Elijah will draw the difference between the 2 Lords, same as the first Elijah. The word “Elijah” is “El” is “Yah”, God is Yah (short for YHVH). He will be hated by the God-hating media as he turns the hearts of the children to their fathers and the hearts of the fathers to their children (Malachi 4:5-6).

We can certainly look forward to a time when our teachers will not be removed into a corner any more (Isaiah 30:20), idolatry will be throw out and there will be no more Canaanites (Merchants) in the house of the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 14:21).

Distractions — Enemy To The Genuine Truth

Posted in Meditation at 2:34 am by Meditation

We live in a modern world filled with distractions of all types. There are many things devised to capture the mind: get-rich schemes, entertainment, game playing, politics, talk radio, movies, television, blogs, etc. The human mind is similar to a drunk monkey looking for the ultimate banana. Once the mind is captured by a distraction, it usually ignores what it was previously paying attention to. It may or may not return again to what it had originally focused on.

“…where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). What we treasure most will become the focus of our attention.

Bible FAQ

“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon: and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here” (Luke 11:31).

The queen of Sheba heard about Solomon and his wisdom and went to see him to see if it was true that he was the wisest man. She found he was indeed the wisest man (1 Kings 10:1-9).

The comparison made by Christ was that he (Christ) was infinitely wiser than Solomon. Yet the crowds of people, for the most part, had no true appreciation of that.

The same is true today. Christ is the living Word of God (John 1:1). The Bible is the written Word of God. In the pages of the Bible we have a wealth of knowledge that originates from wisdom that is infinite. But generally humans, for the most part, set Bible reading as a low priority. There are computer programs and Internet links that can search and translate the various Greek texts on which the English New Testament is based. The same can be done with the Hebrew of the Old Testament. There are programs and concordances that show how specific original language words are used throughout scripture. There has never been an age in which this knowledge, in detail, was at the fingertips of humans until now. And most people have no appreciation of it. Most would like to play video games, go to a ball game, or involve themselves in some modern form of entertainment. There is nothing wrong with entertainment but it can, at times, interfere with our spiritual growth.

There are two things that generally cause a major focus away from God: an evil heart of unbelief and a heart hardened through the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:12-13). Scripture contains the knowledge we need. To transform it into wisdom, all we need do is ask.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not…” (James 1:5).

Make Your Life Better: Meditation Essentials

Posted in Meditation at 5:16 am by Meditation

Meditation is a state where body and mind are consciously focused and relaxed. Practitioners of this art report clearer thinking, and a mind/body connection, as well as a more positive outlook in life.

Meditation is most commonly associated with monks, mystics and other spiritual disciplines. However, you don’t have to be a monk or mystic to enjoy its benefits. And you don’t even have to be in a special place to practice it.

So now you want to learn how to meditate. While there are many different methods, most of them are quite similar. The most important among these principles is that of removing all of your thoughts from your head, and calming the mind with a deep sense of focus. This helps you to focus more on all of your daily tasks.

The negative thoughts you have – those of noisy neighbors, bossy officemates, that parking ticket you got, and unwanted spam– are said to contribute to the ‘polluting’ of the mind, and shutting them out is allows for the ‘cleansing’ of the mind so that it may focus on deeper, more meaningful thoughts.

If you find the meditating positions you see on television threatening – those with impossibly arched backs, and painful-looking contortions – you need not worry. The main concept here is to be in a comfortable position conducive to concentration. This may be while sitting cross-legged, standing, lying down, and even walking.

If the position allows you to relax and focus, then that would be a good starting point. While sitting or standing, the back should be straight, but not tense or tight. In other positions, the only no-no is slouching and falling asleep.

Loose, comfortable clothes help a lot in the process since tight fitting clothes have a tendency to choke you up and make you feel tense.

The place you perform meditation should have a soothing atmosphere. It may be in your living room, or bedroom, or any place that you feel comfortable in. You might want an exercise mat if you plan to take on the more challenging positions (if you feel more focused doing so, and if the contortionist in you is screaming for release). You may want to have the place arranged so that it is soothing to your senses.

Silence helps most people relax and meditate, so you may want a quiet, isolated area far from the ringing of the phone or the humming of the washing machine. Pleasing scents also help in that regard, so stocking up on aromatic candles isn’t such a bad idea either.

The principle here is focus. You could also try focusing on a certain object or thought, or even, while keeping your eyes open, focus on a single sight.

One sample routine would be to – while in a meditative state – count down from a particular number, like 1,000. While doing this you should be aware of any tension on any part of your body. Mentally visualize releasing this tension. It works wonders.

In all, meditation is a relatively risk-free practice and its benefits are well worth the effort (or non-effort – remember we’re relaxing). Many people find that they are more attentive to their daily lessons and can reading faster, think more clearly, and have better relationships with friends and family members.

Studies have shown that meditation does bring about beneficial physiologic effects to the body. And there has been a growing consensus in the medical community to further study the effects of such. So in the near future, who knows, that mystical, esoteric thing we call meditation might become a science itself!

Blasphemy: Trademark Of The Despicable King At The End

Posted in Meditation at 8:03 am by Meditation

“…every spirit that fails to confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3).

There is a school of philosophy that believes that Christ was a super human being who was not tempted in the same way we are tempted and did not suffer pain like we suffer pain. Anyone opposing this philosophy might be accused of espousing the “Great Gamble Theory”. These philosophers (and theologians) believe Christ was just going through the motions of being a human while having no substantial temptations to contend with. But was this true?

“…we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin” (Hebrews 4:14-15).

The idea that Christ was not really tempted as a human exists as a false doctrine. Taking this thought one step further, there is the philosophy of Docetism in which Christ is not even considered to have been human, just a phantasm. This is a gross misrepresentation of the Savior of mankind. It is, in essence, turning the life of Christ, and his purpose for dying, into a lie. This philosophy (and theology) depicts Christ as simply putting on an act. The coming world dictator will promote this view to the point of blasphemy.

“Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22). The antichrist will not simply deny that Christ has come in the flesh. He will also deny that Jesus is the Christ. After all, he cannot project Jesus as the Christ while projecting that he (the willful dictator) is the Christ. This will be a pivotal act of blasphemy.

People who presumptuously speak blasphemy are generally very arrogant and hopeful of getting some shock value from it (similar to the shock value a rap singer tries to get by using profanity, vulgarity, cursing and racism). The end time willful dictator will use words like a weapon. “I considered the horns, and look, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth proclaiming great things” (Daniel 7:8). This horn is attached to the fourth beast of Daniel, chapter 7. In the following verse we have a clue as to the time frame.

“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit…” (Daniel 7:9). Obviously the time of the little horn is just before the end of man’s rule on this planet.

“…I gazed at the beast because of the presumptuous words which the horn spake…” (Daniel 7:11, Helen Spurrell Translation). The horn is noted for the words he speaks.

“…the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be different from the first, and he shall subdue three kings” (Daniel 7:24). He will, indeed, be different!

“And he will speak great words against the MOST HIGH, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time” (Daniel 7:25). Who is “they”? It is the three rulers, the three kings (verse 24). This person will be setting himself up as a deity. This fits the profile of the willful dictator. The enforcement of times and laws is a God prerogative, not a politician prerogative.

The Beast Mark

The trade mark of the end time dictator will be blasphemy. “…the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every GOD, and shall speak marvelous things against the GOD of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done” (Daniel 11:36). “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any GOD: for he shall magnify himself over all” (Daniel 11:37).

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come] unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself over all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). He will be exalting himself as God.

“For this cause God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). Why will God send them strong delusion? It is because they had pleasure in unrighteousness and did not believe the truth.

“…there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue forty-two months” (Revelation 13:5). Forty-two months is three and a half years. This same time frame appears in end time prophecy over and over.

“…he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven” (Revelation 13:6). He will be directing his blasphemy against God.

He will be the ultimate undisciplined adult having the ultimate temper tantrum. His trademark will be blasphemy. Undisciplined children (especially teenagers) will identify themselves with the willful dictator. He will be more popular than the most profane entertainer. Undisciplined children are especially noted for their verbal aggression (cursing, name calling, threatening, profanity). They will identify with the end-time world dictator whose blasphemy will be keyed into their willingness to be as profane as their imagination will allow them to be. These children (including teenagers) will not want to retain God in their knowledge except as an object of blasphemy. When cursing and profanity no longer produce an emotional kick the next logical step is blasphemy.

“And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven” (Revelation 13:6). The end time Antichrist will start a new trend of gross disrespect to God. Many will imitate him, especially the young, except those children whose hearts will be turned to their fathers by the end time Elijah (Malachi 4:5-6).

“[There is] a generation [that are] pure in their own eyes, and [yet] is not washed from their filthiness” (Proverbs 30:12).

Thankfully, evil of all kinds will eventually come to an abrupt end. The world dictator (the horn) will be destroyed in the burning flame (Daniel 7:11).

The Son of man will rule for eternity in a kingdom that will not be destroyed (verses 13-14).

Being Changed From The Negative Image To The Express Image Of Our Father

Posted in Meditation at 6:31 pm by Meditation

A decision was made as to what image the human should be. The choice, of course, was that the basic image would be that of God. So that, just as God has arms, legs, head, eyes, ears, etc, man would be of the same appearance. The human was destined to have the basic image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), which would be carried forward to each following generation (Genesis 5:3). The notion that God is a blob is a false doctrine, not backed up by scripture. Of course, if a religious leader can persuade you into thinking that God is a blob, then he is that much closer to alienating you from your Creator and inserting himself in place of your Creator. The important part of the image of man is the mind. This is the part that distinguishes humans from animals. The human mind is a multi-function heuristic device capable of learning and judgment.

The brain is the hardware and the spirit is the software. We have an excellent operating system given to us at birth. There is a spirit in man (Job 32:8), which is neither good nor evil. It is neutral. It allows us to carry out the simple functions of living our life. The image we have is incomplete, just like a computer that has all of its hardware and an operating system but no application programs. In other words, we are fragmented; therefore we can only know in part. However, our destiny is to know fully even as we are known.

Bible FAQ

“…now we see through a glass darkly; but then face-to-face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12). How does a human become transformed from the basic image of God to the express image of God? Only through the Son who purged our sins and now sits on the right hand of Majesty (Hebrews 1:1). However that involves a process. That process is salvation. It is available only through Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 4:10-12).

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than that of gold that perishes…” (Peter 1:7). Salvation involves enduring to the end (Matthew 10:22).

God’s people are refined as silver and tried as gold (Zechariah 13:9).

A refiner of silver heats the silver until it becomes liquefied. This is an analogy to the trials we must go through with. When the silver is liquefied the impurities drop out, leaving only the pure silver. The analogy here is the dropping out of sin. The silversmith knows the process is complete when he can look down at the silver and see a reflection of his image in the silver. Our process is complete when the Father can look at us and see his express image. Then we are complete and ready for the kingdom (Matthew 25:34), because we will be like our elder brother, Christ, who is already in the express image of the Father (Hebrews 3:1).

Real Marker Of The End: The Cup Of Evil Getting Full

Posted in Meditation at 5:30 pm by Meditation

Many who predict the end will point to wars or earthquakes or famines as markers of the end. These are not markers for the end. These represent only the beginning of sorrows (Mark 13:8). The genuine marker for the end is: the cup of evil getting full. When the cup of evil becomes full, then there is a need for the end of the world (the end of the age of man’s evil rule of this planet).

After three and a half years of the world’s most dreadful experience, Christ, the Son of man, will return to this world. This will be the end of the world (end of the age of man’s rule). When will this take place? It will be at a time similar to the time of Noah (spelled Noe in the New Testament) (Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:26). What happened during the time of Noah?

“God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).

This same thing is happening now in our time. This planet is starting to have a full cup of evil, including the imagination of the thoughts of the heart. Thanks to the Internet, pornography girdles the globe. The highest court of the United States continues putting its stamp of approval on the slaughter of millions of unborn babies, allowing them to be murdered for the sake of convenience. Defense attorneys brag when their client gets by with murder (example: Johnnie Cochran stated that they played the race card and dealt it from the bottom of the deck). Students have become serial killers after going through a school system that rejects God. Instead of blaming the godless school system, the media blames the guns. Most of the Washington politicians and most of the media are keeping very quiet about robbing the next generation to bailout the bankers. It’s as if they believe the public is so dumb they will not realize what happened if the media continues to ignore it. Christ will take back this earth by force (Revelation 19:11-16) and politics will come to an end.

When Will the End Be?

There are some who would think of God as being unfair to kill all the population (except 8 people) during the time of Noah. However, God can do whatever he wants. He created the system that gave birth to all of us. He could have chosen to save only 2 people, Noah and his wife. We need to realize that God is God and he will do what he wants to do.

“What will we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he said to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion” (Romans 9:14-15).

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:11-12).

What Precisely Exists As The Great Whore In Revelation

Posted in Meditation at 5:45 am by Meditation

What precisely is the identity of the great whore in Revelation? On her forehead is the name, Mystery Babylon the Great (Revelation 17:5). Note the word “mystery” in the title. She is Babylon. What does Babylon represent in Bible prophecy? Many scholars will tell you that the whore, Babylon, represents false religion. However, false religion is only one component part.

The command would not be “…come out of her my people…” (Revelation 18:4) if the whore, Babylon, was only false religion. The command would have been, “come out of her, you Pagans.”

The sea captains would not have been throwing dirt on their heads (Revelation 18:17-19) if the whore, Babylon, had been only false religion.

The whore, Babylon the Great, exists as the control system against God. The Babylon control system incorporates religion (faith control), commerce (currency control), media (opinion control), education (mind control), and pharmaceuticals (drug control). When was the last time you received a really good pain-killer without playing a game of “may I?” with your doctor?

There is a reason scholars have a hard time realizing what Babylon is: They have a pre-conceived notion of what power is. The people who have real power are not under the control of any nation. When you control currency of the world, you control the world. When you can loan money to both sides in a war, you care not which side wins. No matter who wins, you win, and on top of every thing else, you collect interest.

Beast Mark

This power is already in place and will soon be riding on the back of the ten nations in Europe who will become the power base for the Beast power. The ten nations in Europe will be Roman, not Babylon. Eventually they will get fed up with Babylon riding their back and they will destroy the whore, Babylon.

“…the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore and shall cause her to be desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire” (Revelation 17;16). Remember this scripture and you will not confuse Babylon with the resurrected Roman Empire, the new European Union, the spawning ground for the ten nations that will be the power base for the Beast. The horns represent strength. The ten horns are ten powerful kings (Revelation 17:12), the kingdoms of which are represented by ten toes in Daniel (Daniel 2:41).

We are now entering a time period that is referred to in Bible prophecy as the times of the Gentiles. In order to understand the times of the Gentiles, we need to ask, “What is a Gentile?” Many scholars would say, “It is a non-Jew” and would be only partially correct.

In the Old Testament, the word Gentile in the Hebrew is “goy”. A goy is a non-Hebrew. A Hebrew is a descendent of Eber, who is far up the family tree from Abraham. Therefore, the non-goy people, the Gentiles, are people who are not descended from Abraham. For example, Turks are not Gentiles, Arabs are not Gentiles, English speaking countries, generally, are not Gentile, and, of course, the Jews are not Gentiles. Blacks are, for the most part, Gentiles. Chinese are Gentiles. Germans are Gentiles. Most Italians are Gentiles. Japanese are Gentiles. There is going to be a fundamental reversal of national powers, what there is left of them. In fact, this has already started to happen. China, the world’s greatest creditor nation, is presently in the driver’s seat.
