    @arzoyan Capitalism isn’t the issue, its fascism/corporatism that is the problem. The Marxist idea of wage slavery has been dead for years. You aren’t a slave to Google or Walmart, you are a slave to the government that devalues your wages and savings.

    It is a wonderful idea for everyone to “tune to each other and to themselves” but, we have trouble agreeing with each other on any level these days. So many people are self-centered and self-serving. It’s another “me” generation. Young rebuke the old, the old are cranky, it’s white vs black, citizens vs immigrants, rich vs poor, and the worst evil, the ugly attitudes toward the homeless. The global society is not healthy. Good luck Mr. Kabat-Zinn. Materialism needs to go first.

    @arzoyan
    I always said that every worker in America should all stay home one day. That would bring Washington DC and corporate America to their knees, but not too many peolpe are willing to take a stand.

    For immense humanity to be acting as batteries charging the insatiable drive of a minority for their private gain and greed is mind numbing to say the least.Capitalism is a politically manipulated market mechanism of artificial scarcity to perpetuate poverty and exploitation. The destuctive and dehumanising pattern is an imposition of minority interest for minority gain. We need to as a matter of urgency reclaim our lives/Earth for a world of cooperation for our collective needs and well being

  10. arzoyan says:

    A world of wage slavery of immense humanity for the private gain of a few is a world of artificial scarcity for the perpetuation of poverty and exploitation. We live in a social reality which is energetically distorting,dehumanising and devaluing our true potentials and abillities for a world of cooperation for our collective material and emotional needs and well being. All techniques of meditaion for sanity and holism are ESCAPISMS to disconnect us from truth of CAPITALISM

    Completed a Mindfulness course a few years ago. I have to say there were times (when I didn’t fall asleep during the meditation) that I felt a feeling of not only peace, but of actually being, the real me under all the facades that I wear everyday just to get through the day. The best exercise was the taste one where we looked at a raisin, felt it, tasted it, and slowly chewed it. When u slow the entire process down u really experience that raisin! I realized how sweet raisins really are.
