Meditation music downloads have made a big impact on the self-improvement trade for some time now. They have improved countless of lives since they first came out. However, not everyone has utilized or even heard of the many perks these meditation audio tracks have to offer – accessibility, portability, and extreme convenience to name a few.
Gone are the days when we all fully relied on personally traveling by land, water, and air just to buy something we wanted or needed. You’re probably having a tough time remembering how you managed to survive back then.
Thanks to technology and scientific improvements, life just got a little easier. Meditation music downloads are an accurate testament to that. Back then, you had to master silent meditation or simply learn the art (and science) of meditating through time-honored ways, and by that I mean time consuming and difficult. But think about all the time, money, energy, and effort you’re going to save by buying downloadable versions.
It’s crucial to remember 3 main points when you’re looking to purchase meditation music downloads:
1. The kind of music that relaxes you. You can pick anything from instrumental classics to narrated soundtracks. You just need to set aside some time to go over a few samples and determine which is more interesting to you. After doing a little comparative testing, you’ll end up with some seriously good ones, I bet.
2. Duration of the meditation music. You will soon find out that the length of each meditation track may vary. However, you might want to check out the ones that play a little longer to avoid breaking off your concentration in the middle of it all. Once you’re used to it, you can always buy much shorter versions to save on time.
3. Determine your budget. Meditation music downloads don’t have to be expensive, but some are more costly than others. Keep a budget in mind so you don’t go overboard.
Go through free samples online before paying full price for anything. That way, you get an idea of what the product is all about, and you can take it on a test-run to guarantee maximum effectiveness. After going through these free tracks and samples, you’ll have a clearer picture of what you truly look for in meditation music.
Always keep in mind that meditation music downloads may have a single, general goal, but its effects could vary from person to person. Getting the exact same download your colleague at work is using doesn’t mean you’ll be getting the exact same results. Have a listen and enjoy the experience while you’re at it. Before you know it, you’ll end up with a music track that’s definitely going to help you relax like you’ve never experienced before.
For you to end up with a truly efficient meditation audio series, you need to start off your search with a credible binaural beats source as described in this review of Holosync. You can easily discover additional binaural beats information with this Sleep Programming article.

Inner healing is a type of prayer therapy that is used to resolve important root issues and heal the emotional basis of one’s illness to restore the spirit and the mind which is damaged by various forms of traumatic experiences. There are different ways to experience inner healing and below are some of them:
Meditation
Meditation is a type of discipline used by a person who desires to get beyond the “thinking” and “conditioned” mind into a deeper and more concentrated state of awareness and relaxation. It is recognized as an element of many religions and is said to have been practiced all over the world for more than 5,000 years now.
Different meditative disciplines envelope a wide variety of psychophysical and/or spiritual practices which may focus on different goals from achieving a higher state of consciousness or awareness to greater self-awareness or creativity, focus or simply a more peaceful and relaxed frame of mind.
According to some who have been practicing meditation for their inner healing testify that they have enjoyed so many benefits from it; physically, emotionally and spiritually too. Some of them are:
It reduces the use of oxygen. It decreases the respiratory rate. It increases the tolerance for exercise in heart patients. It increases the blood flow while slowing down the heart rate. It leads a person to experience a deeper level of relaxation. It lowers down the blood lactate level thereby reducing anxiety attacks. It builds self-confidence. It reduces emotional distress
The above were just few of the many benefits of practing regularly.

Zen meditation is the central part of the Zen practice and is known in Japan as “zazen”. This meditation practice originated from the Zen Buddhism. Zen practitioners assume a sitting position like half-lotus, lotus, postures or Burmese.
One of its goals is to regulate a person’s mind and this is done by directing the awareness towards watching or counting the breath or putting one’s breath below the navel in the energy center. The benefits of the Zen meditation include the following:

The use of Binaural Beats during meditation could help you to get into a deeper meditative state faster. Binaural Beats occur when one hears two different frequencies in each ear. For example, if you were to hear 300 Hz in your right ear and 320 Hz in your left ear, your brain “hears” 20 Hz (320 Hz – 300 Hz = 20 Hz). This only happens if the difference is 100 Hz or less. By using Binaural Beats you can increase your brain wave activity at a specific range. This is called entrainment.
There are four different waves that the brain operates on. Beta waves are present when you are actively thinking and doing things. Alpha waves are present when you are relaxing, or are “zoned out”. Theta waves are present when you are sleeping and dreaming, and are the most common waves present when you are in light meditation. Finally, delta waves are present during the deepest sleep states, and in very deep meditation including out of body experiences.
There are different ways to use Binaural Beats during meditation, but I recommend starting with beta, then alpha, progressing to theta, and lastly ending with delta. Delta is not necessary, unless you are wanting to go into a really deep meditative state. Daily meditation doesn’t really need delta brainwaves, so descending to theta is fine.
The internet is a great resource for finding and downloading free binaural Beats. Alternately, you can purchase some great meditation CD’s that incorporate the use of Binaural Beats.
It is important to note, that in order for your brain to “hear” Binaural Beats, each tone must be directed to the left and right ear individually. So, the use of headphones is imperative. Simply listening to them through speakers will not work. It is also important to know that the use of Binaural Beats is not recommended for those that suffer from seizures, or for children.
In my experience, the use of Binaural Beats has greatly helped me go deeper in my mediation routine. I also find that listening to theta and delta frequencies while I sleep really helps me to rest better and can result in some really vivid dreams. Alpha frequencies can be very beneficial when you need to brainstorm, or need help with creativity. All in all, the use of listening to Binaural Beats can help you to meditate more deeply, and since it is deemed safe and non addictive there is really no reason not to give it a shot.
