Energy Meditation

Energy is everything.  The things we see, feel, or imagine are a form of energy.  But we may not know it or realize it because we seem to think that generally objects, the room you are in, or just nature in general are a separate energy in and of themselves.   But this is not the case.  All spiritual beliefs say that we are connected with the world around us, and the key is to become aware of it.

The following meditation technique will help you become more of this universal energy around you and tap into that inner psyche called imagination.

Sit or lie in a comfortable place.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths for a few minutes.

As you take a few deep breathes, think positive thoughts that will bring you good energy into your psyche such as being grateful for what you have, thanking the Universe for being alive, etc.

Now imagine that everything is energy: the room you are in, the chair or floor that you are laying or sitting on, the food you just ate, etc.

Now imagine that that all these objects are becoming a field of energy that will eventually morph in to a wide area of energy surrounding you.  It can be a white light or other colors to make it easier for you.

After your surroundings have become energy, begin to imagine that you yourself are becoming one with the energy.   Your body is disintegrating and becoming one with the energy you feel.

Once you do this, you should feel yourself becoming peaceful and as if you have come from where you came from: a source, home, or whatever you believe your place of origin lies on the highest plane.

This inner peace you are feeling is consciousness of the purest kind.  You have not only eliminated your surroundings, but also yourself.  This includes your ego.  Because essentially you are one and connected with the world, and so is the world to you.

For about 20-30 minutes, stay in this state of energy and inner peace.

Once you feel totally at peace, imagine that your energetic surroundings go back to its original form, and that all the energy that melted away has return to the physical.  This is your way of returning to the world consciously.

Once you become aware of where you are, stay in silence for a few minutes and then open your eyes slowly.

Thus ends your meditation.

Thus begins true realization of the self with the universe.
